It’s actually impressive to see the amount of entertainment we take around the holidays. Thanksgiving and Christmas wouldn’t be the same without their respective lists of shows and movies, especially our favorite Thanksgiving TV episodes and the Christmas flicks. So, when Food Network released their holiday schedule, we just couldn’t help but jump for joy.

The network is home to some of the yummiest, most highly anticipated holiday specials, so consider this schedule your perfect Christmas gift and Thanksgiving present all in one. We’ve got our staple specials like Christmas Cookie Challenge (featuring none other than Ree Drummond herself!) and several holiday episodes of Chopped. But adding on to that, we’re also welcoming some new shows to the list, like Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidaysstarring Disney Channel icon, Selena Gomez.

The Big Bake

Host Brad Smith will guide a group of talented bakers in a Christmas-y competition! We’re talking Santa, reindeer, and all types of festive-themed cakes and pastries! Ron Ben-Israel, Eddie Jackson, and Danni Rose are set to be the hosts of this four-episode holiday journey, where they’ll choose which contestant has the ultimate holiday baking magic. Be careful, though, as you may want to try and whip up just about everything you’ll see on your screen!

Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throw Down

Dates: Tuesday, November 7 at 9 pm EST, Tuesday, November 14 at 9 pm EST, Tuesday, November 21 at 9 pm EST, Tuesday, November 28 at 9 pm EST.

We always love seeing Bobby Flay battle it out with the best of the best over at Food Network, especially when the holidays are involved! This time around, we’ll see the star chefs bring on three different Food Network favorites across each episode, where they’ll all need to battle each other first before meeting their ultimate match: Bobby Flay himself! However, this year’s holiday special changes things up a bit, seeing eliminated chefs teaming up with either the final contender, or with Bobby Flay as a team effort in the final round. Chefs include Darnell Ferguson, Bryan Voltaggio, Michael Voltaggio, Marc Murphy, Amanda Freitag, Scott Conant, Brooke Williamson, Jet Tila, Andrew Zimmern, Chris Scott, Justin Sutherland, and Tiffany Derry.

Chopped

Dates: Tuesday, November 7 at 8 pm EST, Tuesday, November 14 at 8 pm EST, Tuesday, November 21 at 8 pm EST, Tuesday, November 28 at 8 pm EST.

It’s hard not to feel your anxiety heightened after watching an episode of Chopped (in the best way possible, of course!). But this season premieres with a Friendsgiving episode, which makes the competitive aspect of the show all the sweeter. Watch as four teams—all made up of the best of friends—try to come up with the most creative Thanksgiving feast. In traditional Chopped fashion, there are multiple rounds to the competition—it’s just that this time, one of them features a “totally weird hotdog” as part of the meal. (Don’t worry, there are plenty of pumpkin-flavored items to make up for it!) Ted Allen will be this year’s host, alongside Scott Conant, Nilou Motamed, and Chris Santos as judges for the Friendsgiving episode.

Christmas Cookie Challenge

Dates: Thursday, November 2 at 9 pm EST, Thursday, November 9 at 9 pm EST, Thursday, November 16 at 9 pm EST, Thursday, November 23 at 9 pm EST, Thursday, November 30 at 9 pm. EST.

Anything with Ree Drummond is a yes from us! Watch as The Pioneer Woman and Eddie Jackson host a five episode cookie-making competition, Christmas style! Each episode invites a different set of cookie makers as they make everything from gingerbread cookies to snickerdoodles, including staple holiday ingredients like apple cider and hot chocolate! The winner of each segment will win a prize of $10,000.

The Elf on the Shelf: Sweet Throw Down

Dates: Sunday, November 19 at 8 pm EST, Sunday, November 26 at 8 pm EST.

You’ve more than likely heard of The Elf on the Shelf, and it may even become a Christmas tradition for you and your family! Well, you’ll definitely want to tune into it The Elf on the Shelf: Sweet Showdown, which will have six teams of professional sweetmakers compete to make the tastiest and flashiest edible showpieces for a chance to win $25,000 and the title of The Ambassadors of Confectionery Concoctions. Viewers will love to see Duff Goldman as host! Judges include Kardea Brown and Ashley Holt.

Holiday Baking Championship

Dates: Monday, November 6 at 8 pm EST, Monday, November 13 at 8 pm EST, Monday, November 20 at 8 pm EST, Monday, November 27 at 8 pm EST.

Jesse Palmer is back to host Holiday Baking Championship! He’ll help navigate viewers as a crew of passionate bakers go on to create Thanksgiving pastries! The twist? Every creation has to be somewhat inspired by Wonka! (Aka, the world’s most famous chocolatier!) Judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Nancy Fuller will choose a winner who will receive the grand prize of $25,000.

Holiday Wars

Dates: Sunday, November 5 at 9 pm EST.

Holiday Wars is known for calling all types of sweet enthusiasts front and center. This year, host Jeff Mauro will lead a group of bakers, candy makers, and cookie creators in an intense battle that will only see one winner at the end. After some extravagant holiday sweet-making challenges, judges Shinmin Li and Aarti Sequeira will choose the winner. The prize is an “all-expenses paid trip to see Iceland’s Northern lights.”

Kids Baking Championship: Sweets-Giving

Dates: Sunday, November 12 at 8 pm EST.

Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown are the power duo we didn’t know we needed! Hosting one of the more wholesome competitions, you can watch as they welcome the friendliest group of kid bakers as they all scramble to create the dreamiest Thanksgiving buttercream boards. Don’t be fooled! These contestants may be young, but their talent is immense—they’re competing for $10,000, after all!

Kids Baking Championship: Reindeer Games

Dates: Monday, November 27 at 8 pm EST.

Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown return to our screens once more this holiday season, hosting another Kids Baking Championship! This one focuses on a Christmas-esque challenge, with kid-bakers tasked with making a more-than-presentable reindeer cake that’s required to have some flashy 3D antlers. The winner gets that highly sought after $10,000 prize!

Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays

Dates: Premieres on Thursday, November 30 at 8 pm EST.

Longtime Disney Channel fans will be absolutely thrilled to see Selena Gomez invite some of the Food Network’s most beloved chefs inside of her home as they whip up the most mouthwatering holiday dishes you’ve ever seen! The first episode will kick off with the hilarious and talented Alex Guarnaschelli, who will help Selena make a hearty meal full of mashed potatoes, roast beef, and lots of gravy.

Delicious Miss Brown

Dates: Sunday, November 5 at 12 pm EST, Sunday, November 12 at 12 pm, Sunday, November 26 at 12 pm EST.

You’ll surely not want to miss Kardea Brown in Delicious Miss Brown, especially in her Thanksgiving-themed episode! Watch her entire journey of creating one of the biggest Thanksgiving dinners she’s had in ages. In case you need more convincing, her delicious Georgia peanut and chocolate slab pie will make an appearance.

Guy’s Ranch Kitchen

Dates: Saturday, November 11 at 12 pm EST, Saturday, November 18 at 12 pm EST, Saturday, November 25 at 12 pm EST.

If there’s one thing about Guy Fieri, it’s that everything he does will be big. That includes his season of Guy’s Ranch Kitchen, which will kick off with a Thanksgiving episode featuring some international dishes. Chefs Nyesha Arrington, Nate Appleman, Shota Nakajima, and Jet Tila all join Guy in his home, serving the zestiest meals that we genuinely need in front of us right now.

TheKitchen

Dates: Saturday, November 11 at 11 am EST, Saturday, November 18 at 11 am EST, Saturday, November 25 at 11 am EST.

Ever heard of a “retro Thanksgiving”? Well, TheKitchen is about to show us what that means in the premiere of their newest season, which sees some of our favorite chefs collaborating (no competition in sight!!!) as they make some traditional Thanksgiving meals, just with a slight twist. The first episode features Jeff Mauro, Geoffrey Zakarian, Katie Lee Biegel, and Sunny Anderson.
